Fees requested at time of adoption help with a small part of the care provided, and are non-refundable.Stewart is a 1-1 1/2 year old pit bull terrier who is ready to find his forever home. He was found as an injured and malnourished stray on Stewart Avenue in early November 2018, and has since then made incredible strides towards becoming a well-behaved family dog. Stewart is extremely sweet & cuddly, very affectionate and well, still very puppyish. He is good with other dogs (he goes to doggy daycare twice/week) and excellent with babies, children, men and humans in general. He is NOT so good with cats, and should definitely NOT be in a home with them. Stewart doesn't require extensive amounts of exercise, however he does need an outlet for his puppy energy, whether it's another young dog for him to play with or a couple of short walks each day. In fact, he is good off leash and will remain close by if he's off leash during a hike in the woods. He loves to chew on bones and squeaky balls, and this can preoccupy him for hours on end. He is not destructive in the home whatsoever. Stewart is crate trained and does not mind sleeping in his crate. He is also house-trained, but does need to be on some kind of solid schedule in order to succeed. If you are looking for a dog that would be an overall great companion and a great family dog, Stewart would be ideal. He has the makings of a excellent, well-tempered pit bull, and would be a great partner in crime for a lifetime. Stewart has been neutered, is up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and has been dewormed. If you might be interested in meeting Stewart, please fill out an application. 513-221-4451. Cincinnati area onlt.
