Pets are fostered in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio. We do out of state adoptions, but we no longer arrange transport. 

Sissy is one year old and weighs ~ 35#. She could stand to gain a few pounds, still. But she is full grown. She is a wonderful girl despite her short life of neglect. When she first came to the shelter, she had a collar that was embedded in her neck. She had been tied outside, and no one bothered to note that she was growing, and her collar wasn't. Then when we took her into surgery for her spay, the vet found that she had been shot with a beebee in her backside. So she had that removed. Sissy is physically all healed now. And she is healing emotionally too. We can tell you that she will make your life happy if you give her a chance. She will be a loyal companion. Sissy loves other dogs, is OK with cats, and will do fine with children ... as long as they will be gentle with her. Requested donation is $125 to help us pay for her shots/ deworm/ deflea/ spay etc. *** Sissy is going to Cromwell, CT.
