About Tinkerbell: inDayt

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • Rescue ID: REL0109
  • Housetrained: Yes
Tinkerbell was born around June of 2006. She is a full-grown female weighing in at approximately 7 or 8 pounds. She comes from the “Russian Blue” breed. Tinkerbell has a beautiful solid silver / blue short-haired coat. Tinkerbell is a very calm and loving cat. She loves to lie on the bed, alongside someone or at their feet. She loves to be petted and will sit nearby a person for hours. However, the way she best likes to receive attention is to “walk” to her favorite spot on the rug, then to roll onto her back for a proper belly rub. Tinkerbell currently lives with 2 other cats. She sometimes interacts with them in play and sometimes sneaks off to find her own quiet spot in the house. She has never lived with dogs or children, but given her laid back and docile personality, she would probably adjust without too much difficulty. Tinkerbell has never bitten or been observed acting in an aggressive manner in any way. She remains calm while having her toenails clipped every few weeks. Tinkerbell was found by her current owner when she was about 4 months old. She was flea infested, noticeably malnourished and distress crying for help. She was immediately taken to the vet for testing for Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids. She tested negative for both of these common cat diseases. She was spayed and started on a full round of routine shots. She has had vet check-ups at least once each year. She will receive her next round of shots on 1/10/09 and will be available for adoption after this time. Her full vet records will accompany her to her new home. Along with her full vet records, Tinkerbell will come to her new home with a large bag of her current food, a hardtop cat carrier and a new litter box. A potential adopter may arrange to “foster” Tinkerbell for a few days while deciding whether or not she is a good fit for the home. The adoption fee for this animal is $25.
