Pets are fostered in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio. We do out of state adoptions, but we no longer arrange transport. 

Sparkles is about 2-3 years old. A bassett hound mix that weighs only about 37 pounds. She has short legs that make her seem small, but she is actually a medium weight dog with big floppy ears and a wrinkly forhead. This sweet little hound was abandoned when her family moved away and you can tell she really misses them. It was a neighbor that alerted the shelter so they could get her to safety. We call her Sparkles because when she is being petted she "sparkles all over." Such a pretty smile! Sparkles would like a foster or forever home for Christmas. Can that be with you? She will be spayed and brought up to date on shots Dec. 21st. Then she can come home. Requested donation for this fully vetted, spayed and microchipped girl is $175. ****Sparkles has been adopted and has gone home for the holidays . She is living in Cincinnati.
